KD5PEL and WA5ZRP Silent Keys in Same Week

Our Rio Grande Valley ham radio community was very saddened to experience the passing of Tommy Fee KD5PEL and Charles “Ducky” Brabham, WA5ZRP who were both highly thought of and well respected among the Hams in the Valley. We are going to miss them very much. Having lost both of them inside of the same week, and both being net control operators for each evening’s “rag chewers net” their absence will be felt for a long time to come.  Tommy was 45 years old, and Ducky 84 yrs. old.
