Hurricane Predictions Miss Their Mark… Again.

Hurricane season ends this Friday November 30th and for the second year in a row the predictions weren’t in synch with what happened.  ”The seasonal hurricane forecasters certainly have a lot of explaining to do,” said Max Mayfield, former director of the National Hurricane Center.  It is difficult imagining anyone attempting to predict what course nature will take with all of the dynamics involved. On the other hand, just look at the accuracy that computer models have delivered as far as the paths and directions that storms travel once they’ve been formed! MORE HERE
